Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: The disk image I downloaded is corrupt. Will you please fix it?

A1: You must be running Mac OS X 10.4 just to mount the disk image. If you are running 10.4, and you are still getting errors, this is most likely a known bug in Safari and not actually a corrupt disk image. After downloading the disk image, if there is a ".bz2" extension, do not double click on it. Instead, remove the ".bz2" extension in the Finder (ignore the warning it gives you). Now, double click on the ".dmg" file, and it should open.

If you see this problem, can you please report this in the web forum? I think it is an issue with a particular SourceForge mirror, so please tell me the actual SourceForge mirror you used. Also, if the ".bz2" extension is not your problem, it may actually be a corrupt image.
